A Note That Should Have Been on Co-Star:

Let people in. Let people in even when the bed isn’t made, the dishes are unwashed, the rug is littered with crumbs, the fridge isn’t fully stocked, and the couch is yet to be pre-warmed. It’s okay. Maybe they’ll fold the sheets with you, maybe they’ll put your blue plates back in the cupboards for you, maybe vacuum your rug for you, maybe do groceries with you. And maybe they’ll help make everything cozy with you, and for you. Starting with the couch. Especially the couch. 

Or maybe they won’t. Who knows. But you’ll never find out unless you let them in.
